Crock Pot Tomato Sauce Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 (28 oz) cans crushed tomatoes
- 1 (18 oz) can tomato paste
- 2 (28 oz) cans tomato puree
- 2 large carrots, shredded
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup extra virginia olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 4 bay leaves
- 1 tablespoon dry basil
- 2 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1 (18oz) can water
Instructions:
1. First of all, heat the olive oil in the crock pot then add in the carrot, onion and garlic. Saute them on high until transparent.
2. After that, add in the tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato puree, basil and seasoned salt. Add in the water and mix well.
3. Cook it for about 8 to 12 hours on low.
